From the forest, rangeland, and cropland to the sea

BWET flyerWater quality of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, (MBNMS) is influenced by regional land use and agriculture land management practices throughout the Central Coast. This uniquely designed workshop brought to you through the collaboration of NOAA, MBNMS Ag Water Quality Program and Cal Poly State University, offers well rounded instructional tools, research and management perspectives to increase protection and conservation of water resources.

Agriculture (Forestry, Livestock and Crop production) professionals, regional and city planners and college students from throughout the Central Coast, Salinas Valley and Bay Area are encouraged to participate.

You will receive pertinent hands-on, field-based training to gain an increased awareness and technical skills for water quality management. Resource managers and production specialists from forestry, irrigated crops and livestock and rangeland management will work with participants to provide opportunities to apply recommended and innovative "management measures and practices" (MMPs).
